Student Administration

Student Administration is part of the Student Administration and Services department at The University of Northampton.

The Student Administration division is responsible for:

• UK and EU Student Admissions, Registration and Enrolment (through the Admissions Office)
• Administration of academic programmes within the Schools and maintenance of the student records (through the Student Administration Teams)
• Examinations 
• Submission of Assessments (through the Student Assignment Office)

Student Administration also work with other departments to support:

• Effective communication with applicants and students (with Marketing and External Relations)
• Academic policies and procedures (mitigating circumstances, cause for concern) (with the Framework Office) 
• Maintenance of the Academic Regulations (with the Framework Office)
• Processing of student assessment outcomes (with the Framework Office)
• Servicing Senate and its committees (with the Ceremonies, Certification, Committees and Conferment section) 
• Appeals and Complaints
