Electronic submission of assignments
How to submit an assignment electronically
On the NILE site for each module you will see a 'Submit your Work' button. Follow the instructions to upload your assignment. If your assignment is unsuitable for online submission your tutor will let you know.
Deadline
The deadline for all online submissions is 23:59 British time, on the date your tutor has set.
Confirmation receipt
NILE: When you submit electronically via NILE the system will record the date and time you submit. In the unlikely event of work getting lost, there will be a record that work has been submitted.
If you have any problems submitting via NILE check the NILE service status** for reports of any issues. There are also user guides on electronic submission which can be found on NILE by clicking on the help tab. For more detailed support with assignment submission, contact the Learning Technology team at LTSupport@northampton.ac.uk.
TURNITIN: Coursework submitted through Turnitin will receive a receipt - you should retain this for your records. If you have any problems with submission check the Turnitin twitter feed for updates on the status of the service.
Please note you must submit both an electronic copy and a paper copy. Submission of electronic copy only will be treated as incomplete.
Your electronic copy and your paper copy must be identical.
