Post-registration study

The School of Health has provided post-registration education to healthcare professionals in the local area for many years, and during this time we have developed extensive expertise in the development and delivery of such provision tailored to meet the needs of local users. During this period the provision has grown from one award in the MSc Health Studies to an extensive portfolio of awards.

Awards currently include:

  • Doctorate of Professional Practice (D Prof Prac)
  • Post-registration awards
  • Stand alone modules - Level 6 (BSc)
  • Stand alone modules - Level 7 (MSc)

The success of our post-registration provision is no doubt a reflection of the expertise and commitment of the expert teaching team which includes highly experienced specialist practitioners and recognised academic experts. Drawing on this experience, our staff have developed a wide range of contemporary interdisciplinary modules which respond to both the local and national health care agenda.

Programmes are offered primarily on a part-time basis to allow students to combine work and study, and teaching methods employ state-of-the-art technology to support student learning.
