Ethnic Minority - mentoring scheme
All ethnic minority undergraduates in their first or second year of academic study can take part. Year 3 students are welcome to apply, but do bear in mind your final year is a busy one, so please think it through.
The Mentoring Scheme is a national scheme that lasts for approximately six months and will include the following:
- You will be linked with a mentor working in an external organisation within a range of occupational sectors
- You will have 6 x 1:1 meetings with your mentor at their place of work at which you will review your goals and objectives; look at career pathways; improve your personal and professional skills and build up contacts and networks for when you leave university.
