Criminology
Criminology is the science that investigates the extent and nature of crime in society.
The University of Northampton offers an undergraduate Criminology degree, BA (Hons) Criminology. The course can be taken as a full single honours degree or combined with other subjects in a joint programme.
The programme of study at The University of Northampton combines Sociology, Law, History and Psychology to give students a full understanding of this complex subject.
The University also delivers an undergraduate degree for aspiring and practicing investigators. Our new Professional Investigative Practice BA (Hons) provides students with a comprehensive understanding of key theoretical and practical issues appertaining to investigative practice, enabling them to confidently undertake professionally conducted investigations.
The University also offers a postgraduate MSc in Criminology.
