Social Work, Social and Community Development and Social Care

The University of Northampton offers a range of courses for students interested in Social Work and related areas.

The Social Work course provides the professional qualification for Social Workers throughout the UK. Graduates of the course will be eligible for admission to the General Social Care Council register of Social Workers and to hold the title of Social Worker.

The Social and Community Development and Social Care courses examine social issues to prepare students to work in the social care sector. The courses include optional work placements to deepen students' professional understanding.
