RefWorks

RefWorks is an online reference management, writing and collaboration tool.  It is designed to help students and researchers easily gather, manage, store and share bibliographic information, as well as generate citations and reference lists.

If you need to manage bibliographic references for any reason - for writing, research or collaboration - RefWorks may be a useful tool for you.

Using RefWorks at The University of Northampton

Existing Athens RefWorks users

Go to the RefWorks Athens Authentication Point and follow the Athens log-in.

(You will need to transfer your existing reference folders across to your new University login account. After you have done this, login and re-register (as below) with your University login. You will not need Athens again.)

NEW (after September 2011) RefWorks users

Go to The University of Northampton Single Sign-on and register as a new user (using your University login).

Write-N-Cite

You will need to access or download Write-N-Cite on your PC to use with RefWorks.
