Partnerships and community engagement

The University of Northampton aims to actively engage with the region's communities, act as resource for these communities and promote lifelong learning.

The University has partnerships with local and regional colleges and organisations, as well as partners further afield. We also work with secondary schools on widening participation projects.

The University engages with local communities by:

• Researching the demand for and barriers to, lifelong learning opportunities
• Working with the public, private, voluntary and community sectors
• Representing the University throughout the region
• Developing events that encourage lifelong learning
