Library FAQs
Interlibrary loans: Can I renew interlibrary loan material? Interlibrary loans: Can you obtain material from overseas? If we cannot obtain material via the British Library, we may be able to apply overseas. The British Library offers a world wide search for material not available within the UK. This service is very expensive and costs in excess of £50 per item and £20 even if the search fails. We are also part of the IFLA scheme that allows international interlending between countries. If you have details of where a particular book or journal is held we may be able to obtain it through the IFLA scheme or by applying direct. Please contact the Interlibrary Loan team with any queries.
