Dr Matthew Sangster, Royal Holloway, University of London, is completing a PhD at Royal Holloway on literary success and failure in the Romantic Period. As part of this project he is cataloguing the archive of the Royal Literary Fund at the British Library, where he also recently co-curated an exhibition on 'The Worlds of Mervyn Peake'
