Staff Profile

  • Andrew has been working in the Video Games Industry for over 26 years as an Artist and Developer. During that time, he has been employed at various companies and also been a Freelance Artist for the last 11 years. Having worked on over 40 titles across all platforms, Andrew has created content for products of industry giants such as SuperCell and Sega to Indie micro studios. This has also been balanced by being chief lunch maker and school run taxi for his two daughters on their educational journey from nursery through to secondary school and college.

  • Andrew’s start in teaching began back in 2014 when asked by an ex games colleague, who was leading the Games Team, to help as an HPL. Since then he has been back most years to lecture on a variety of modules leading to a part time permanent position last year (2020-21). This then lead to a full-time position and provided the move from Freelance Artist to full time Senior Lecturer.
