Standard entry requirements apply. A typical offer would be 140-160 UCAS tariff points to include a grade D or equivalent. However, a wide variety of qualifications are considered and we welcome applications from mature students. Applicants are expected to demonstrate an interest in sport and the sports industry.

Course content
It aims to provide knowledge and skills in sports therapy as well as equipping students to respond to challenges within the field of sports therapy and injury rehabilitation. The course is supported by excellent practical facilities based at Moulton College.
The course focuses on the physiological function and response of the body in relation to sport participation and injury, the identification and treatment of sport injuries and the skills required of a practitioner within the injury rehabilitation process. A period of clinical experience in a variety of applied settings is an important element of this course.
Stage one
Students will complete a range of modules including practical modules (e.g sports massage), theoretical modules (e.g anatomy and human movement) and applied modules (e.g Principles of fitness and training).
Stage two
Students will complete various modules, which maintain the same balance of practical, theoretical and applied element, as in stage one. Students will also complete a period of industry experience to complement their learning on the course.

Assessment
The course includes a wide variety of assessment methods including written work, presentations, practicals, and time-constrained assessment. Assessment is continuous throughout the course.
