  • The University of Northampton is Northamptonshire's only dedicated provider of higher education
  • It has around 11,000 students across both its Avenue and Park Campuses, with well over a third being mature students
  • We've invested over £70m in our campuses in the past decade, with another £80m planned by 2015
  • We offer over 250 courses at undergraduate (including Foundation Degrees), professional and postgraduate level in a wide range of traditional and modern subjects

  • Our Portfolio Innovation Centre provides offices within a hub of expertise in the Arts for start-up companies in the creative industries

  • Our academic experts make regular TV appearances — the Parapsychology team have appeared on Most Haunted, while Health and Science and Technology staff/students have provided expert advice to C4's How Clean is Your House
  • Our oldest graduate to date has been 84 years young!
  • Honorary recipients of the University include fashion designer Zandra Rhodes, Radio 1 DJ, Jo Whiley and singer, Joan Armatrading.
